SELF-CHECK ON COSMOPOLITANISM
PHINEO gAG

OPEN-MINDED MUNICIPALITY

We are working with Phineo to present a comprehensive self-assessment questionnaire in an interesting and attractive way. The aim is to give as many municipalities as possible the opportunity to check for themselves how cosmopolitan and diverse they are so that they can learn from the results and set themselves new goals.

Concept
PHINEO AG website shows questionnaire for cosmopolitan municipalities

Idea

First of all, we worked with PHINEO to think about how we could best explain and position the topic. This was followed by a video with project participants and diversity experts talking about the topic. The "Weltoffene Kommune" project is then explained in one sentence, other municipalities that are already involved are shown, the self-check and contributions/material on the topic are provided.

Implementation

We started with a workshop in which we laid all the foundations for the project, such as target groups and goals. For the technical implementation, we then teamed up with Welance and developed a modular website on the CMS Craft, which is particularly editor-friendly. The most difficult part was the self-check: together with Welance, we came up with the idea of mapping the questionnaire using Typeform, as it is intuitive and offers everything we needed. We always worked in a joint exchange between conception, design and development. The project design came from another agency, on the basis of which we had developed the screen design. The evaluation of the self-check is the heart of the site - here there are well-founded and individual results including interesting topics and a scoring.

Result

The connection between questions, answers and results was challenging, but we have developed a new system that works. The website is online - take a look at it: weltoffene-kommune.de
