400 million people are eligible to vote in the 2019 European elections. How can the importance of environmental protection be linked to the European elections? And how can the German League for Nature Conservation use an umbrella campaign to involve and mobilize 90 member organizations and their 11 million members?

The claim #natürlichEuropa combines the message of environmental protection and nature conservation with a clear yes to Europe.

Naturally motivating

We therefore developed a diverse and attractive online campaign handbook with associated materials, including sharepics for social media, posters, flyers, buttons, tear-off sheets, print templates, sample letters or campaign slogans and disruptors for demonstrations. In addition to the hashtag #natürlichEuropa on social media, there was a campaign website for interested parties, where the most important demands and information on the EU, parties and candidates can be found.

Naturally diverse

Many very different ambassadors for a Europe worth living in come together with the help of the common message #natürlichEuropa: large and small environmental and nature conservation associations, prominent advocates such as Sarah Wiener and companies such as LUSH, Vaude or European initiatives such as #loveyouEU.
