Nature conservation affects everyone. However, the topic is often far too little present. Nabu has set itself the goal of reaching as many people as possible with ecological topics such as waste separation, bird protection and peat extraction. And this is where Wigwam comes in.
Our approach to effective education on ecological issues is: interactive and digital.
We have prepared what at first glance appear to be somewhat dry topics for the Nabu website. Some of the nature conservation association's existing analog information material was digitally converted and rethought. Other content was knitted brand new for the web. Our focus: clarity, ease of use and a linear narrative.
With the new presentation, the nature conservation association's website has been transformed from a source of information into a world of experience. Knowledge content can now be actively explored and tested.
The very good social media response, among other things, showed how inquisitive and enthusiastic the users of the interactive graphics were.
A much wider range of potentially interested people can be addressed via digital access to the topics. As the number of people reached increases, a greater awareness of nature and our responsibilitytowardsit iscreated. With this growingawareness, hopefully our actions will also change.
