Education and action weeks against antisemitism 2020
With the emergence of the coronavirus pandemic, something else is spreading virally online: crude conspiracy narratives that often use anti-Semitic statements and accusations. It is important to counter this without pointing a finger and to encourage people to question and disagree.
Idea
The indignant conclusion of many conspiracy narratives: "This can't be a coincidence!". But it can be! We raise awareness of the absurdity of conspiracy narratives by parodying how arbitrarily the theories are constructed, but always follow the pattern of an assumption of "string-pullers in the background".
Implementation
The central element is a "conspiracy generator" in which various elements can be used to create sharepics with supposed conspiracies. In order not to run the risk of being confused with "real" conspiracy narratives, we emphasize the parodic tonality. Individual motifs can later be seen as poster motifs in several major German cities.
